Overview
Elandskuil Guesthouse and Self Catering, located just outside Kokstad, offers South African hospitality at its best. The self-catering guest house is situated on a working farm just off the N2, in the beautiful East Griqualand region of southern KwaZulu-Natal. Accommodation is offered in double, single, and a family rooms, each individually decorated and scattered around the garden and main farmhouse. The layout and setting ensures there is plenty of space and privacy to relax and unwind.

The guest house also features a hospitality bar, complete with a pool table and fireplace, providing an often festive venue in which to relax and meet fellow guests. For the outdoor enthusiast, bass and trout fishing is available on request, as well as leisurely walks to ease away your troubles. The atmosphere at Elandskuil is friendly and casual, with homely farm-fresh meals served by the pool or in the dining room. The meals change daily, and all dietary requirements are catered for.

Come spend time on our family-run farm; whether its hiking, walking, mountain biking, 4x4 driving, or relaxing beneath 100-year-old trees while the children play, you will feel at home.

"Comfy Stay at Elandskuil"
23 Oct 2018
Jim Sweet
"We arrived as it was growing dark after a long day's drive through the Transkei and were given a warm welcome by our hostess. She had family staying and, after showing us to our spacious wing of the house, left us in the very capable hands of her two staff members. They provided us with an excellent roast chicken dinner and cooked breakfast in the lounge area, looking out onto the lovely garden. It is a super location and we would have liked more time to explore the area."
