Overview
The Bulwer Mountain Park Hotel is a unique resort offering various activities to occupy the whole family. Facilities at the resort include a swimming pool, tennis court, squash, bowling green, volley ball, bass fishing and horse riding adventures. There are also guided walks to waterfalls, and natural forests in the surrounding area.

This is no ordinary hotel. It is very different with its creaking floors, crooked doors, low ceilings and unusual ambiance attributed to the several ghostly characters said to reside on the property. In fact Bulwer Mountain Park Hotel is truly one of the few genuinely haunted hotels in the country.

The hotel's dcor will transport you back in time. Built in 1940, it has all the charm and grace of old homestead with authentic blackwood beams, high ceilings, ancient broadswords and battle-axes brought from England and Spain. The attractive cellar tavern is the perfect place for a pub lunch or game of darts. After dinner guests can settle down and relax in the comfort of their own luxurious rooms.

"A clusterphobic experience in a poorly managed hotel. At 50% of the asking rate a lot could beforgiven. No TV in the room, unsealedteabags and artificial milk powder in rooms. Towels inadequate and sub standardcurtains. Louvered bathroom window cannot close as plumbing runs throughwindow. No effort is made to protect outdoor soft furnishing against rain, thusrendering it useless for guests. No filter coffee in dining room. Waterrequested at dinner turned out to be tepid mountain water and charged for as Stillwater."

"Good Day my partner and I were recently at Bulwer and we enjoyed ourselves completely. It was out of season so there for the hotel was book for our use throughout the weekend. The staff became family for the 2 nights that we were thier. And pepper the cat and Dingo the dog became our pets for those 2 days as well. All the staff were AMAZING. Julianne and Dingo have become friends to us now. And Goodness what a super star that women is WOW!!! She is excellent at her job and truely loves what she does, She kept our drinks flowing which was awesome and she kept the wood burning at all times. So did Martian.. I would love to go back someday soon. It was the most incrediable holiday... I miss the fire place and the comfy couch while watching a movie and rugby with goodness. Thank You all so much foreverything that you did for us and for the lovely young lady that survered us breakfast every morning thank you.Much Love Tarryn Peart and Tarin Leah Nicholson "

"My wife and I had a very pleasurable 1 night stay at Bulwer Mountain Park Hotel for our second wedding anniversary. The room & hotel have a special old world ambiance which has been preserved and should be so. This is not a place for people who want 5 star bling and marble floors. Relax and take a step back in time. The food was really wonderful, homestyle cooking, with ample portions and the service was prompt and pleasant. The complimentary arrival drinks and scones were a welcome surprise. The staff and management were pleasant and courteous and we will certainly be visiting again and recommend this to anyone who wants to have a good, wholesome, olde world charm stay away. Our thanks to staff and management. Keep it up!"
